Power Drill
« on: Jan 01, 2019, 09:21 AM »
Im finally hanging up the hand auger and looking to start using a power drill, not quite a gas/electric auger. My uncle makes homemade attachments for power drills into hand augers and they work great. Just wondering what people suggest for type/model of power drills.

You seem to be posting this same enquiry on both the Michigan and Massachusetts boards. The answer to your question lies in the recent archives where drills have been the topic

of endless debate and discussion for months now. Nobody could really give you a thoughtful answer without knowing how big a hole that you think you need. The drill/auger options

aren't limitless but there are many good ones and each has its adherents.
We're born, we live for a while, and then we die.  Sounds like a good reason to go ice fishing.
