Anyone have ice condition info on Dief?  Anyone been out fishing yet?  Thanks.
Get outside.  It does a body and mind good!

I was out casting offshore yesterday in a coulee. Skim of ice near the back. Mostly open water. Would be no problem launching a boat. The main lake is still wide open. Check back in a month.

it will be prefect day to launch boat this weekend.   :) saw ice covered around boat launch near Gardiner Dam last Sunday, but this warm weather will break it out. we may go on ice middle of Jan if we are lucky this winter.  :(

I saw someone was fishing down spillway last Saturday with popup tent, not sure the ice thickness.  saw boat launch area/bay was ice locked up, but some spots were open as well.

Buddy of mine just texted me. Was fishing by Elbow Harbour today in a boat with another fellow. Marked fish out to 65'. Caught 5 'eyes. Guess the auger can stay in the shed for a while!

Lake by Riverhurst and around the corner by Palliser still wide open.

In fact the ferry is still running. Be ice fishing there in February!  >:(

I drove by the dam and Coteau Bay yesterday.  No ice in sight on the main lake and the lake was very rough with the wind.  Coteau was mostly open water with some ice towards the back of the bay.  I saw a few people shore fishing.

Fished the weekend at Prairie Lake. Must of caught about 20 big pike over 10lbs with the biggest about 18lbs. Caught and released them all trolling cranks @ 1.3mph- still no ice.

Were you the one chipping out the ice at prairie lake so you could launch?

Was at Beaver Flats yesterday, which is a few miles East of Sask Landing. Had 12" ice. Trucks were driving around pulling shacks on.

In front of launch might be 5" now but back to the west by pump house was 10-12 a week ago, decent action.
