Got my K drill this week. (Sebago Bait) Will be putting it to the test next weekend at the Long Lake Derby. Like the fact that it's only 5lbs and I don't have to mess with gas. If it works as good as the video, I'll be getting rid of my 4 stroke Strike Master.

I just got a call from a supplier and they got in (12) K Drills. I couldn't believe it, so we bought them all. Should be here Monday. YESSSSS!!!!

No trickery here. It was magic getting an additional 12 units. As of today when I left we have 14 in stock. That is 70 pounds of augers.

Used my K-drill at the Long Lake tourney. 
I was too lazy to hand crank my Nils (which I brought as backup).
The ice wasn't that thick 12-16", with some snow cover.
I used one battery (9Ah) both days.  Drilled about 10-12 holes per day.
Lots of power left over at the end of the day.
I did keep the battery in a small cooler with a hot pack when not in use.

With all the awesome reports and videos that I have read and seen online, they now have one less. I called this am and paid for mine and had it set aside. Will be going down on the 18th and pick it up then.
It will be so nice not to have to prime and crank and crank on an auger and start out frustrated before the 1st line even gets in the water.
Will keep my 10" Jiffy 3500 STX as back up for if/when we ever have more than 2ft of ice.

It is impressive cutting an 8" hole but I'm holding out til I see an electric cut several 10" holes. I imaging it may happen in the next few years or so.
