Looking to get out Wed. Wasn't able to get out. Can anyone give me a heads up on how much and quality of the ice is. With snow coming in it will make it really tough to figure it out. Thanks.

Fished bay 2 yesterday. 5-6” of ice. Super slow, for trout.

Fished first Bay away from everyone else. 7-9". Bubbles in the ice but still pretty solid looking. Had flags going all day and a couple on jigging rods. Ended up with 6 Brook trout, 2 browns, 2 pickerel and 2 perch between 2 of us. Pretty great day to be on the ice. Biggest being 17". Nice kype. Super tall. Awesome fight on the jig.

Great colors on that fish. You had a productive day away from the masses, well done.
