Here sweating my butt off in this miserable heat and humidity.  I can't wait for the ice season to be here and I hope it's longer and colder than last year.

Heat sucks, I have been out only a few times myself not at all what I was planning and seems like when

Same here   I drive trucks I'm always out on the road. And I'm always driving by fields all day and some of them have a little orange flag sticking up foot or so off the ground  some kind of marker or who knows for what but guess what first thing that pops in my head.  FLAG!!!  Lol

Good luck with your knee brother.The doc told me i have a lateral torn MANISCUS,and I need surgery ASAP.I told him ill see him in APRIL after iceseason.He shot me with some jell and away i went.

I'm here but haven't been for a while because work is insanely busy.  Hopefully the work situation will go back to normal soon and I can be on here like I am normally, a few times a day.

1st time posting, My name is Nick and live in Crawford Co Pa. Can't wait for ice season!!!!  I have been working on my shanty "The Dominator" all week.  It will be its second season on ice, turned a few heads last year, I was the only hut I seen around last year heating with a homemade woodstove in Crawford Co. It is funny when someone at the baitshop 30 miles says " Did you see that hut out there with the woodstove"?  Thats me, Lol.  Anyway,  I am looking forward to talking hard water with all of you here.

The weather is warm for this time of the year. lots of acorns falling. Seen a Coyote yesterday in the day. I did not have my piece to take him down, I did not know if he was sick or not but unusual seeing him during the day. I also been hearing about these "Fishers" in the area?? Has anybody seen one yet??

Picked up the In Fisherman Ice fishing guide yesterday at F&S.  Then, this morning, I watched Tom Gruenwald ice fishing up in Vermont.  Really gets the blood flowing.

I missed that. is there a certain channel you have to see ice fishing, or was it just one event?? Some times I can go into "On demand" and look it up

I believe it was the Sportsman channel. I just looked at his web site http://www.tgofishing.com/watch/tgo-season-2/ (http://www.tgofishing.com/watch/tgo-season-2/), and the show is not available yet. The episode was called "Breakin' the Chains".

Cambria County PA checking in. Went out to head to work this morning with 2" of snow on the car. Really got me thinking and led me back to this interwebz family. Cmon cold! Weather changed so fast I'm not even sure if the water flipped yet lol.

Finally put the boat away today!  Had to bust some ice out of the bottom of it!  It's felt like ice fishing weather the last few days, and we are ready for it.  The delivery will be here on Monday from Vexilar via UPS, then respool the rods and prepare some new tip ups.  Ice season will be here before we know it!!!   ;D ;D :clap: :clap: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :woot: :woot:  I can't wait!!!
