Fishing the open water at Box Butte

Howdy All!

Since the record temps that ruined the ice at Box butte,
I have had a great desire to go fishing there!
Does anyone have any insight on the open water fishing at Box Butte? Like when it starts to heat up, Fish start biting, and fish location. Any info would be a great, Great help.
I am looking to take my belly boat up there in the spring/summer.

open water at Boxbutte is very good just depends on what you want to catch determines what to use and where to fish and when it turns on!!!!!

Here is a lake map for Box Butte, wish I could help you a bit more,  never had the pleasure of going out there yet.
