How many poles does every one fish with? does anyone use tip ups? Never used one before but thinking about it this year? Thoughts??? :tipup:

Usually always 2 for me with a 2-pole permit, 6 poles at the gorge and 5 poles when i fish chesterfield res in idaho. I do have a tip-up and 2 ht riggers but only use the riggers at the gorge. The tip-up i have only used twice in 5 years, didnt have much luck with it

So is the gorge the only place you can use 6 poles?

yes, would be nice if they would allow a few more poles at some other lakes
