Was going to buy a heater at menards but they don't carry the one I wanted had $120 worth of the 11 %rebate I wanted to spend.. so got a 3/4 air impact gun instead..

Couple buck knifes from gander mtn. most were made in china..

A jack bracket for a kicker for our boat gander mtn again.. $200 jack plate I got for less then $60...

Have not bought rods or reels in mouths for ice fishing or regular fishing cause I buy good reels like shimano..

Bought some trolling baits to night from fishusa.com $72 worth..

Other then that there is a few ice fishing / soft water fishingitems I am planning on buying .. don't want to say it cause others will beat me to it lols ..

I was set up and ready with everything I need or want last year and barely got to use it so I'm still ready with everything... pretty much. I still might get an ice kit for my Lowrance Elite 4x Chirp. That would be pretty cool to try out but I'm not in a hurry. I still got the ice-45 and it works great. I just wonder if the Chirp would work better in the weedy lakes I fish.

2) CGI # 8 reel to go with the Tickle Stick
3) Picked up 2 "the snapper" its an automatic fisherman but just gets far more compact to so i can add it to my tip up bucket.
4) Havent done it yet but i am gonna snag some of those new fancy glo shot spoons, not sure which size yet i need to "fondle" them first. Hard for me to replace buckshot rattle for the eyes though. Hopefully its not another perch talker or wally talker... those damn things were worth less for me.

New buddy heater and storage bag to replace the one I blew up last year on a long haul out of the high country here

I still have a few things I'm waiting for the right price on, but believe it or not I just added it up and I'm right at about $700 for whats on the list so far. Dont tell the wife!!!! I have been doing alot of scouring around thru amazon warehouse/cabelas bargain cave/icefishingdeals.com & local classifieds around here and feel I've done fairly well. Five new Mitchell 310 reels, which may not actually become available for use until Christmas.
Some hole covers for super cold days and our overnight trip.
Two additional LED lanterns for use in the hub shelter.

Shopping for new bibs and jacket for my wife. Yes, she knows. :)
Probably get an aqua-vu camera upgrade soon.
Looking at a new snowmobile trailer.
Still eyeing that Eskimo 9416i.

The would get pretty cold especially when sitting on a bucket for a long period of time. I'm much happier with the boots I have now. No more cold feet.

If its warm like 20 degrees, I wear my felt pacs. When it gets colder I wear my mickey mouse (old army surplus) boots. I bought them new for $40 17 years ago and have never had cold feet. Draw back, they weight about 20 pounds a piece...but they do work well for standing around on the ice.
I bought:
2 new small heavy action ugly sticks, new reels, new line, a new fish grabber for help landing fish, a new self inflating life vest for early and late ice conditions, new auger teeth, $30 in new tube jigs, and five pounds of AA and AAA batteries for all the gizmo's. I did thrift store bargain up a very nice heavy coat for fishing $3. a new gear bag from ugly stick, it's pretty cool, a better old dependable ice fishing 4X4 to get me there and back and two cans of black spray paint for the old smitty sled (gen 4). Still need another wool sweater and thin wool gloves.

Was planning on picking up the 6920 this winter but I found a pfleuger UL combo in the basement this weekend that I didn't know I had so I won't need to buy one now. If I see one for $22 I definitely won't be passing it up though!

Those Rose Creek boxes look pretty awesome, especially the spoon box. I was talking with the manager at Scheels about getting some in stock and he was gonna look into it. Would be nice to not have to pay the shipping but either way I'll be getting a couple this year.

I just got it in the mail yesterday so I haven't had a chance to compare it side by side with my quick tip yet but I would say it's lighter than the precision and maybe a little heavier than the quick tip but a slower action.

I just put reels on all my rods and now that I had the fusion side by side with the quick tip I think the quick tip is actually a bit heavier than the fusion. The quick tip is definitely thicker at the base of the rod. The fusion is quite a bit slower action though.

Been there done that....🤑 Go with the glow sleeves......best ones......also eBay is where they sell them. If you email the seller he can sell u exactly what you want. The EZ up adaptor is sold on go ice fishing.com

You will love them. Gas station managers will not! Just make sure you take them off before you walk on things that aren’t ice or pavement.

I really enjoy my Kahtoola’s. I could run full speed on the ice if I wasn’t so out of shape. :roflmao: :roflmao:

I put the IceTrekkers Diamond grips on my amazon wishlist as I thought they'd be less harmful to the things I own.

zero difference in the tip and backbone. just personal pref on the extra 2in depending on how tall you are, if you like to stand or kneel, etc.

Ended up only having to cough up $100 for brand new Helix 7 head unit and my dad who doesn't ice fish already has the lake masters plus chip for me to use during the winter months. Can't beat that.

Oh, that's my buddy's portable, commercial smoking setup. The booth is designed to look like his horizontal smoker. His pulled pork tacos are pretty good.

I agree Im looking forward to putting it to good use this year. I need to pick up a lake master chip for it and of course the South Dakota one and Minnesota ones are 2 different chips. Ill have to keep an eye of ebay for a deal to pop up.

Well they arrived faster than I expected them too so that was cool! Tried them on both pairs of boots I have, which my muck boots are size 11 and my insulated Rockies are 11.5 and the xl fit great on both pairs and easily slipped on and off! Can't wait for ice!

I picked up the same hub last year. I really like the thing it goes up pretty easy I would say to set it up once or twice in the garage or a large room to get the hang of opening it up and putting it away. That way you're not fighting it on the ice. Also make sure you have all the ice anchors biggest thing we ran into is making sure whichever side is facing the wind to make sure the rope is tight or that side of the hub can collapse in.

Also I see you're around SF same with me if you want PM me where you are located maybe we can meet up and see if we can find some fish this winter.
