well looks like this could be the end of the season guys...with fridays 2-3 inches of rain forcasted it doesnt look good...hope we can get a few more days in before...

so close, but yet so far.....we're forecasted to get a foot of snow...

You will just have to take a trip to your west we are still on 14+ inches of black ice with a couple of inches of white ice, and we are still driving out and we should still be able to drive out saturday.

we still have 12+ inches of black ice in Framingham ....just worried the edges are gonna go...so far you cant get a plank or ladder out...ahhhh

i have seen 3to 6 inches of snow then changing to raim, for this area so i dont think the rain will effect the ice as much becasue it isnt going to be that warm of a rain.

Yeah the bigger bodies of water are in trouble out here in eastern ma....Got to get out and get em while the hardwater is still around......I am going to hit heards tomorrow

With all the thick black ice here in worcester county ...we should be fishin for two or three weeks ...as long as we fish where edges are good..

Going to be 50 on saturday but then get chilly again next week highs in the 20's.....There was some serious crackin going on today on the pond. Pike were still biting though!

plenty of ice my way had my truck and 4 place trailer on wickaboag today with 4 sleds in it. Total weight was about 11,500 lbs plus 4 guys and all our gear. There was 17 inches of ice but no fish bitting.

Heavy snow falling with about five inches already on the ground here in Greenburgh at 7:30 AM. The ice should hold up just fine around here. What are other people getting?

Pouring In wayland.....there was still 6-9 ice on the smaller ponds...watch out on the larger bodies of water in metro west....

Oh Yeah, Plenty of ice on there it is going to be sloppy though..make sure to wear your spikes....I am going to try and get out on there sunday

got a clan headin' to dudley on sunday.stop by if heard's isn't safe.
fished dudley with a buddie last wed.,beautiful day weather-wise.
managed to ice 5 bass and a pic,bigg bass being 4.2
had over 16'' of black and 3'' of snow ice. very impressive.
people way in the north corner were fishing next to the spillway to cochticuate
for pike and musky.nice to hear of your pike out of h.p. last week.

thanks Joe glad to see you got some nice weather....last few times i've been out were absolutley gorgeous!!!...anyway HP may be a problem tommorrow with all the rain and melting from today...ice is safe (guys fishing this afternoon) but there is a fifteen foot rim of open water around the entire pond. Some spots look as if you could walk out but you may get a little wet. i plan on bringing my boat just in case. Hope to see you there....if not good luck and look forward to next weeks COLD spell (HIGHS IN THE TWENTIES AGAIN!!!!)
