How are the shorelines holding up in the Belgrade area?

Lakes around Cumberland have open water around edges and in mouths of brooks .Yesterday had to use 8' planks to get out onto solid ice when we came off ice planks broke tru. had to move them .Once this snow coves all one will not be able to see open water and open holes which are getting big enough to swallow a man.. Think I will put jig sticks away for another year!!!!!!!!

I agree, this snow is going to make things very dangerous
on the ice.

as much as I wanted to get back out jigging ,I want to be around for another year. I use to be able to jig in April guess not this year...

I just put away my auger and jig rods. Not worth the risk here. Time to get the greenhouse up.
