13 fishing BB freefall

I just picked one of these up today, got home and stared adding a bit of line and it feels rough....

Might return it tomorrow, I thought these where suppose to the the shiz???

Maybe I've been to spoiled with higher end shimano reels...

I own two, both of which are really smooth. I’d be looking into it.

its smooth until I add line tension.
