Three mile lake?

Has anybody fished it this season?
Its 50 mins away from me and im trying catch something else then besides gills.
I hear they have perch and eyes.

It was just renovated in 2016 so i doubt the fish are up to consistent catchable size yet. 12 mile is close and seems to be hot the past couple years and there are good variety of species there.

I just read got done reading about 3 mile and the renovation that happened in 2016.
I was about to ask about 12 mile also you read my mind!
Im thinking about hitting the brush pile /rock transition off the southwest boat ramp.
Would you happen to know anything about the ice conditions in that area this time of year?

Ice conditions are good at 12 mile. was on it last week and had 8-11"

Be careful on the south end of 12.  Canadian geese like to keep that open.  At least the southeast side.
