Title: Replacing clutch drum on strikemaster mag 2000?

Any one ever done this? My drum took a crap on my auger theres a small gear that needs pulled off of the shaft to replace it. any info is greatly appreciated.

The pinion gear is threaded on with standard threads.  A tip that was given to me by a strikmaster mechanic was to find a socket that will fit over the gear, hold the clutch drum with a gloved hand, and hit it with an impact gun.  Mine spun right off, no sweat.

I know this is a long shot, but is it regular thread or reverse thread? I need to remove as well
