Just a dusting
« on: Jan 30, 2018, 05:33 AM »
Last night's forecast was a dusting to one inch. Measured 5 in the yard at 5:45, still coming down. Well done weathermen. I was hoping to keep the snow off the ice until we got another freeze, oh well. :-\

I unexpectedly got the day off because of the weatherman's mishap. If the ice I was on this Saturday was just a LITTLE thicker, and it wasn't so warm on Sunday, I'd be fishing all day today. Not quite safe enough for me to venture out solo today on snow-covered ice.  :-\

Snow is definitely not helping any.   I think you'd be fine if you headed north part of the state a few degrees.
The only time I learn something is when I'm not talking.

Less than 1” in my section of Candlewood.
If you can't play nice, get off the ice!

It looks like we were in that band that got 4 to 8 inches. The dusting is north of Norwich because I have 7 on the ground here. I guess I'm fishing a bit north today.
