Please give an iceshanty welcome to Tags Tacklebox. Tags will be sponsoring the CT boards this season.

A lifelong fisherman, Thomas Grabowski is making his dream a reality with Tag’s Fishing Tackle and Bait Shop. Tag's is ready for ice fishing season and have all sizes of bait in stock!

Hours:
Mon - Thurs 6a.m.-2 p.m.
Friday. 5a.m.-7p.m.
Saturday. 5a.m.-5p.m.
Sunday. 5a.m.-noon.

Welcome aboard TAG'S! Great shop, I've been there twice in the last month. Nice selection of ice gear including rods, tip-ups, augers and bait. Couldn't escape without an armload of goodies.

Spent a few hrs. there yesterday,Very Nice to meet a few iceshanty members.A steady stream of men and women,buying bait as well as gear,Fish stories abound,Bait selection was very good as well as his newest shipment of ice gear,Great pricing on new and used gear,along with a little Christmas Cheer.A great addition to the Iceshanty.

GREAT bait shop!!!!!! Tremendous selection of bait and fantastic hours of operation. One thing you can count on, if the sign lists the hours of operation, they WILL be open. One of the few bait shops you can count on to adhere to their hours of operation. Tags also has a wide variety of fishing equipment and tackle at GREAT prices.

Visited Tags for the 1ST time today. I drove an hour to get there and I was not disappointed. Tom was knowledgeable and very helpful. He had plenty of live bait on hand and he had the gear I needed to get out onto the ice today. I will definitely be back!

Granby - I'm taking a similar 1 hour ride tomorrow to stock up on bait for my makeshift garage tank. Many shops in my neck of CT have gone out of business (like CTO and Mike's in Voluntown), close up for the winter, or just don't carry very good bait. Good sized shiners, suckers, etc are tough to find in SE corner. From what I've read and heard it should be worth the trip. Looking forward to meeting our esteemed sponsor. There's no place I'd rather spend some money than a good reliable tackle shop.

TAG's is my "go to" shop for all of my needs. I've visited Tom 5 times this season already for shiners (which are always healthy) spikes, mousies, etc.
