  Anyone ever try these early ice ?
They are great in the fall .
Early ice should be the same (maybe ) ?

I would think they would freeze fast and not move very much once in the water. I personally think it would be a waste of time. Just my 2 cents.

 We have to put the action into jigs or any other bait we use, so I would be inclined to say that the fish would bite on crickets under ice as they do any other time. If you use them please let us know the results.

   That might work if have something to put the cage in to help retain the heat.
