Wow that seems pretty sketchy. I know I broke 2" with ease while duck hunting this year. I surely wouldn't be walking around on it!

3" for a snowmobile? going 80mph or what  ;D? They did that on one of those alaska shows and I was puckering just watching.

I'd add 2 inches to each of those to be safe, but that's just me.

I have been on 2" many times ,but this is obviously black ice .you went through 2" of black ice Kevin?i think it is accurate if it is clear hard ice with no mixture of white.but it is one of the lower charts I have seen for load per inch,i guess when you are in the army cold water nothing but a thing
