Hi all, I am not new to this landlock business but I am still on the learning curve. I get some fish on traps using medium shiners but not as many as jigging. In my state shiners are the only bait fish sold this time of year. The medium shiners run about 2.5" in size. This weekend the fish zeroed in on Kastmaster in the small 1/12 oz size  go figure wanting the tiny jigs! The traps are rigged with a 6# flurocarbon leader so I should be ok there. Could it be even the medium shiners are too big? Has anyone use fatheads for salmon or do they even sell "small shiners"?
