Glow in the dark?
« on: Nov 23, 2014, 08:27 PM »
I was killing time at walmart and picked up a few things to try: a buckshot, magic bean, and 1/8 oz jig heads, all glow in the dark.  Does anyone actually have more success with glow in the dark than regular jigs? Is there a time of day, ie after sunset, that they work better, or for a particular fish species?

There's a possibility I'll get out in about a week if temps stay good, but in the meantime, what's everyone else's experience been with them? Yeah or nay?

Well, glow jigs.

Do you have a plan for how to make them glow ?       ???

This might help:      Charge your glow jigs

It is very rare I'll use jigs that don't glow.   You do need a good way of charging it though.

Are you close to Ypsi ?

There is a link above to another thread and there, you'll find another link to Lure Lightning.   It'll glow some of your jigs that you didn't know had the glow feature.       ;)2

I have really started to like the new red and blue glowing jigs.  Red seems to be a great color for crappies.
