« on: Dec 02, 2007, 06:33 PM »
Pokefan1 and Mooter joined me on a nice day of Crappie action, a few Bass joined the party. Everyone had a good time and caught a meal to take home.

My son and I with our pile of Slabs.

very, very nice. it was over 24 years ago my "little boy" did his first serious fishing trip with his ol' man. your pic takes me back to a farm pond in the late spring of '83 when the 'gills were slurping 'hoppers in the afternoon kansas sun as fast as i could get his pole baited and back into the water. had so many 'gills my boy michael j. could barely lift the stringer off the pond dam for his "official" pic's. nice job iceneyes. enjoy the years to come for all their worth with him, cuz i miss mine already.

It was in Buffalo on a small private pond. The pond you speak of is the wetlands pond, better know as the TURD pond, as it is a reclaimed treatment pond...

Healy is roughly 9 miles to the east of town on highway 16 east. I have not been out there in a couple of days so I dont know if it is starting to ice up yet..

Keep calm and return fire...

That was a great trip with great weather.  Nice to meet a few IS Members.  You guys are the type of people that make this sport.  I look forward to doing this again soon.  My daughter had a really good time watching me fillet those fish too.  Thanks again Buddy.

Mooter, Looks like we need to get some good weather and take all the kids to the Crappie Pond. I know that my little girl is raring to go. Definitely have to do it again.

Anytime.  I think I'm fishin the Ole' Mans Pond this weekend unless something else better comes up.  If you want to come on over just give me a holler. Ya Momma informed me that the ice needs to be a little thicker for the girls to go.
