We usually do but when I went over the other day I had good luck at Badwater so I may try to get the camper somewhere in that area. I saw a camper already in there so you must be able to get it in and out.

Where are you thinking about going?

My wife and I are going over from Pinedale early Sunday morning to fish all Day Sunday and most of Monday.

We usually fish Tough Creek at least once a year, but that is usually later in the season.  We have also fished Fremont and Muddy and had good success early in the ice season, but I have not done that in 5+ years and cannot remember where we fished!

Any thoughts on where to go?

Dunno bro, I was in 25 ft, got an occasional perch to swim up and scratch and sniff, but i'd had my 4 wheeler, I'd have tried 40 ft water out from N Muddy... ;D

Just got back from Boysen and it is a windy one out there.  I went out last night and camped.  Ended up catching 2 decent ling, 1 walleye and 10 perch and lost 2 big trout at the hole. But the wind picked up about 0530 this morning and I had a hell of a time getting all my gear off the ice and loaded up. The wind was 40-50 MPH....too much for this kid any more.

Looks like Boysen will be a fun place to be over New Years this year.

My family and I have made it tradition for the last 6 years we have spent new years at Boysen ice fishing. The wife doesn't get out of the camper a whole lot but at least she goes and she cooks for us! The kids and I spend a lot of good quality time together, hopefully those memories will stay with them for along time.

Anyway, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year!!

We look forward to see some of on this baord at the lake!!

I went out on Tough Creek and there was 6-8 inches.  The good news is with  all the wind, it is blowing the snow off the ice so the ice can start building again!!

It started blowing hard just before I left yesterday, just before the storm hit. Who was it had that signature "Danged Wyoming wind blew my beer away"?  ;D
