Well, the itch is real, with the colder temps, I’m ready.....what’s everybody think will be first time on ice? I’m hoping by the second week of December, maybe just wishful thinking. So let’s here it boys what ya think?

I'm guessing between December 8th and the 15th. It's been pretty cold at my house the past week and has been snowing on and off since Saturday.

I’m off from Dec2-Jan7th....I’ve got a serious case of perch fever...hopin for some ice on PIB but I’ll go up to Lake Simcoe if I have to!

I made it out for the first time on New Years Eve last year, I'm hoping its earlier this year. Any time around Christmas or before would be awesome... just not before deer season is over!

I can b up there in less than 6 hours...it’s a no brainer if they have good ice reports n we don’t....the you tube videos from up there have my wheels turnin

I’m a Michigan boy....moved here to Moon in 2013...I was told muddy Creek on Lake Arthur was always 1st ice of the year....everyone agree? I was there before New Years last year....

We fished kinzua december 17th last year and had other options where we could have fished. I'm hoping for a repeat but staying realistic and going with Dec 23rd.

Rite on Dickerson-Jared! It was hit or miss on muddy creek I had one good day outta 4 where I limited out with keeper gills a few crappie n a lot of dinks...does Kinzua produce good panies? I also put tip ups out for pike but on MC it’s usually bass that run out line....

I was on the ice before Christmas last year and I'm hoping for a repeat. Just placed my yearly cabelas order of ice jigs and plastics. I placed it to late last year and alot of the plastics I wanted were on back order. This morning I was able to get the styles and colors that I wanted with no problem.

seen some ice on shallow lakes , but temp wont hold it ;-( my only xmass wish is to fish on ice by xmass ( and some $$) lol

Heck I am planning on taking the boat out this weekend on pymy... I hope the ice holds off until after that but then freezes up over rifle season so I don’t have any down time outside. If it comes in for Christmas I couldn’t think of a better present.

Walked across my pond today! Was about 1 1/2 inches of nice clear ice. It's coming boys! I live about 2 miles south of Penn State Behrend in Erie.
