1 Man Insulated Frabill Stroschein 1350
« on: Nov 12, 2018, 01:33 PM »
Afternoon All,

Anyone got a review on the 1 Man Insulated Frabill Stroschein 1350? Looking to possibly pick up a one man shack since I fish by myself 70% of the time. Dealing with some recent back issues and looking for someone easier to pull than my two man. Pros and cons please. Dont need the this brand is better than this brand conversation.

Thanks,
Will

I don't have that shelter you're talking about but my advice is to make a Smitty Sled, it helps make the pull A LOT easier.

It's basically a fully insulated version of the sentinel. They say it weighs 64 lbs. I have the recon which is actually a little smaller than that one and uninsulated, I love it for when I go out by myself and for early ice, when I'm trying to pack lite. As far as pulling, it all depends on how much gear you try to pack in it, I have skies on mine. I would probably second the smitty sled.
