2019 season check in
« on: Oct 08, 2018, 11:03 AM »
Season is almost here.  I just got word from the DNR that the new contest list will be available early December.

Also, where is everyone from?  I am from St. Cloud.

Hey there, I'm in St. Cloud myself. Hard water is right around the corner finally! I've been ready for it since June lol.

Finally got the itch a few weeks ago. Already have a trip planned to Red, and Mille Lacs.

Live in the cities, but fish alot around the Pine City area.

Checking in from the Twin Cites area. I moved back here after being in Northwest Montana for four years. I'm definitely going to miss the 10 minute drive to chase lake trout but am excited to find some new "favorite spots".

as much as I want the ice fishing season to get here I want to do some water trapping first before freeze up. also am trying to get in as much bow hunting as I can. so much to do and so little time. I am in Monticello by the way. not to far from St Cloud. I try to get up to the horseshoe chain in that area and chase some catfish atleast once or twice a season. they are fun to catch through the ice.

Hey all,
Im from Bemidji,  I will probably be on the ice this weekend.  A couple of small lakes have plenty of ice on them already for early safe fishing.  I will hopefully have a report on Monday.
Good luck and be safe this winter
