Strike Master Strike-King auger blades
« on: Aug 20, 2018, 03:55 PM »
I have an older model 8” Strike Master Strike-King gas auger that I’m trying to find blades for. Anyone know where I might locate a pair? Will the 8” Lazer blades fit? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! 🎿

I have an older model 8” Strike Master Strike-King gas auger that I’m trying to find  ladies for. Anyone know where I might locate a pair?

We have a few nice ladies on the forum but most people look for ladies elsewhere....  Looking for two sounds greedy and dangerous.

 ;D ;) :roflmao:

Good luck!

Hey, I'm old fashioned.  There's the old recommendation of church and the grocery store.  But probably not for two at a time.  I think I'll leave it at that.

Seriously, though, I think I would call Strikemaster on that one.

I’ve tried that. Rapala took over Strikemaster and revamped the Strike-King with a Honda power unit. To make a long story short, they are no longer stocking the older model parts. That’s why I was wondering if anyone knew if their 8” Laser blades would fit my auger. Ski

Why don’t you just order a pair and if they don’t fit send them back..

That’s one solution. By the way, ever fish Congamond? How about Buck Pond for pickerel?

what i do is haunt small mom & pop tackle shops around here, ,n, look in corners   ,n, nooks ,n, crannies. many have old, rarely needed parts hanging on hooks , out of the way. these were needed at one time, but no longer by most. found 3 sets of 10 in. mora blades this way. they,re out there. i,ll keep my eyes open for you. if i find some, i,ll post on this thread. wire

May want to give D-Rock ice a call or Email ...they have more in stock then there website shows ...very helpful in the past with both questions and parts ...another option is an entire drill unit ...lazer or chipper ...D-Rock has some Demos too. Not sure of your drill units rotation ...clockwise/counter clockwise just be aware .Good luck with your search.

Proper local name is CONGAMUCK.
Yes we do. Largemouth-Bass heaven. When there's fishable ice, usually a local charitable ice derby most every Saturday run by locals who are all good people. Show up early and ask. Usually Flatlanders and Tourists are welcome.
All the Hampton Ponds are loaded with Pencil-Pickerel. Again abundant Bass are there. Pequot usually has some trout from the fall stocking.

Yep, right name! I grew up fishing all three ponds, especially South pond. I haven’t been back to fish them since 1967. Last time I went back the canal on Middle pond, (by Gino’s Brass Rail and Saunders) was filled in and had houses on it! I don’t know if you remember Michnos’ Bakery or Zavrotnys Candy Store, but my grandma lived off Fowler Street. Thanks again damn...for the trip down “memory lane!” Lots of fond memories! Ski

After much searching, I decided to pull the trigger on a new Lazer lower unit. Thanks for the responses and help, and if you happen to locate 8” blades for my old Strike King, please feel free to PM me. Thanks again all! Ski
