Read elsewhere this is believed to be a false alarm.  Common sense and caution definitely still in order!!

In the internet age of trolls, fake news and alternate facts it is not surprising some is getting their jollies by posting unsubstantiated ice rescues. 

Raquettedacker, this is not intended for you but the person who posted it so you would find it.

I didnt find it im not on FB..  ;D
I just posted what a friend who found it sent me..    He lives down there i  have fished there many times.... ;)
I should have checked the facts first.
Just hope it is false.....

Yea found out it was reported by someone driving by the lake . But yet they never stopped to see if what they thought was a person in the water was really what they saw.....      :wacko:

A guy took a swim in Lake George yesterday by the MDB launch rescuing his dog. Both swam safely to a nearby dock and got out.
