I know it's supposed to be cold but we're supposed to have a lot of wind over here with it. Won't that just offset the cold lol.

I doubt the wind will stop the lakes from freezing more when it is 52 deg below freezing

I'm talkin' the Gorge...where there's still open water and nasty pressure ridges with open water. No new ice will be formed there right?? I know where there is already ice there will be more. I'm not quite THAT dumb LOL.

I am sure the places with ice will grow bigger but not sure if this cold snap will be long enough for "everything" to freeze.

looks like it with be in the high 30's friday and saturday, but dropping again after that.

Cold, what cold? Rock Springs high was -6 today and the low tonight is forecast at -22 trying for a new record. Good news is the gorge will freeze up again.

-36 in Centenial right now. I wish this would kill some pine beetles, but I think it has to stay cold for a while. I hope so anyway.

Glendo ice is healing up nicely now. I can put up with working in this cold when I know what the weekend will bring

Trog, I was out there sunday. 7-8 inches. I used a couple planks to stay dry. Seen 2 4 wheelers out there driving around. only seen 3 people besides myself out on the ice.
