« on: Feb 04, 2008, 01:02 AM »
Went out Sat morning for a couple hours the bite was slow and very lite caught 1 gill and about a dozen specks all dinks, except for 1 9" crappie, Ice was open around the edge of the boat launch had to step in water to get to the ice but once on you were on 5 to 7" of good ice.

Any report on what the ice is like after the rain yesterday?

There is a creek that runs in to the lake just to the right of the ramp. Make sure you give that a wide berth.

Nice to hear that the ice is finally forming. might just get out once or twice this year yet.

Friend of mine lives on Duncan.  He is on the East side, just south of the narrows.  He has been catching specs in 26'-28', 16' down.

I've never ice fished DUncan before, i fish a few bass tourny's on there in the summer, and do a little panfishing with grandpa in the summer also.  Like 5 years ago him and i together caught 1,000 bluegills over the course of the summer before i could drive.  Thats not counting the ones he caught when i wasnt along!! If things pick up out there id like to try it sometime! Where does everyone do the best at??
