First ice on the gorge

My dad and I knew there was “some” ice out at the gorge so Sunday morning we took a drive and tested it out. We found a spot with 5 inches in between a couple different ice lines. Perfect! We had just a flat out phenomenal day. We always hit a spot around here first ice and never have had a stellar day...but we did something the fish gods liked I guess!

I’d post the pics but you might as well enjoy the video ;) Sorry for the shameless plug...kinda

Yea it was -2 in the morning and 45 and sunny when we left! Lots of pressure getting released with those kinds of temperature swings! Thank you for watching!
