I just drove by Farrington, lots of open spots from the rain and wind.

Did anyone try Davidson's Mill Pond, end of Riva Ave., South Brunswick yet?
Now is the time for all good men and women to engage in the sport of ice fishing

There were a couple of holes out there before the rain this weekend.  I drove by yesterday afternoon and it all looked pretty locked up, but I did not venture onto the ice...   looks like warm weather and more rain on Thursday will set it back again by the weekend

I was out on a private pond in Central Jersey on Tuesday, Jan. 22nd and had exactly 4 inches. Another friend fished another private pond in Flemington area and had 3 to 3 1/2 inches. After this rain I would be extremely careful.

I fished davidsons on january 17th, so those were probably my holes. Definitely not safe anymore.

I drove by DM on my way home from work yesterday and the boat ramp area was locked up, gotta figure with the temps being what they are the ice might be safe for Saturday morning.   Just wish we had a bait spot close by instead of trucking all the way to moulders.

That's a good question. I know the main lake is open.

Bad info yesterday. Ice is safe on the east side. Still looks like  open by the dam. 5”. Couple people out.
