Edouard or Clair lake?

I work in a lab at the U of R and we're planning to collect some water samples at Edouard and Clair Lake (close to the Quill Lakes) next week.  I'm wondering whether anyone ice fishes there and knows what the ice conditions are like?  Ie is it safe to drive on the ice?   

I've attached images of our sampling points at Clair (5)1.98921, -104.05851 and Edouard (52.384, -104.34158).
