Terry Janes,the gentlemen who went thru the ice at Summit is still on the road to recovery,he had a few problems with his blood pressure and his kidneys,so they are keeping him for a couple more days,anyway we recently started a donation for Terry,so he could get his Ice fishing gear replaced,and Im overwhelmed at the donations:

I just read this list off to Terry on the phone at Methodist,it brought tears to his eyes,I could tell.I cant thank you all enough,when this gear is delivered,I'll get some great Pictures of Terry with his new gear,the joy on his face will live forever,once again thanx to all you brothers

If you guys want to use one of my wholesalers and replace Terr's stuff at my cost I will do that for him. Just have to have an order over a certain dollar amount. Just let me know guys I cant get almost anythingon themarket for him................... .Just message me and let me know Jigginstick or Swedish Pimple.

Might even have to throw in on of my custom jiggin rods

I see, well if you guys need to get him more stuff or if Terry wants too use the money that is donated to him for replacing some more gear at a later date my services at cost for him will be available.

I got ya one done up Jimmy, Need to get the transmission in the asphalt wagon (my truck) fixed. I hatebeing without it right now.

Make sure that donation jar stays at the bait and tackle store at summit for awhile, since a lot of us that fish there have an hour drive or more, and don't get that way as often as we would like.

What all did he loose? Im Not sure if I still have it but I use to have a extra propane lantern. I would have to do a lot of digging around in the shed to see if I still have it.But if he lost one and I still have it he is more than welcome to it.Just let me know if he lost his and Ill dig around this week to see if I still have it.

Cool! I just talked to a buddy and we might be fishing Summit next Saturday morning. I will definitely be fishing it Sunday afternoon, and will make sure to stop by the tackle shop.

Asphalt_Kid is throwing in 2 reels also.Terry is meeting me at Summit at daylight,I'm just gonna let him use the money in the jar to get him a rod to fish with tommorrow,and tell em hes gonna have to wait a week until the rest of the stuff arrives in the mail,this is simply unbelievable.

I would like to thank everyone for their kindness and prayers. The donations will not go unused, I plan on my first trip tomorrow. I love doing this and it seems to me that the best therapy is to go out and enjoy what it is I like to do, Catching big copperheads on the ice...Hopefully the gills will be biting. It means alot to have people that doesn't even know you care about your well being. And for the people I do know I thank you for the care you have shown to me. I am grateful for the kindness of all of you. Tony if you are reading this (my boss) I'll have to share the bluegills with you. Thank you everyone Terry Janes ( Bluegill King )

Terry it's nice to see you on this site, post often. It is great to see you back on the very lake that almost took your life. It had to be a little nerve wrecking stepping back out there. I am glad you didn't give up your passion. I got the check from gruntngrin today for your new lantern. The members on here are true ice fishing brothers.

Made it out today to fish with Terry some,no sooner than we get to our spot,which happen to be 3/4 mile off the causeway,my phone starts ringing and its fishermen up by the Causeway saying theres news reporters lookin for Terry,so after we seen that the fish weren't where we were,we moved out and got still was struggling,then I finally called Terry and told em they were lookin for him for a interview,and he showed up and gave his story.

I got a couple pictures from today I wanna share......
