I guess this belongs here...

Has anyone tried the ice jigs from these guys? They claim "Premium Japanese Hooks". So those that have used them...are they premium...as in high quality? Unlike China, Japan does put out some good stuff. I like and use their Sunline fishing line. Just wondering about the jigs. Thanks fellas.

To be honest the glitter jigs are not all that great as far as paint.it comes off easily.dirty clown is good also.headed out the the door in a few for some  December steelhead.

I have done well with the Wonder purple glow 4 mm. For gills and perch.I personally have never had a hook break on me. Can’t beat the price.

I have a bunch of their jigs and seam to be of good quality, haven't broken a hook yet. Good prices and a free jig case with enough jigs in your cart.
I'm not a fan of the glitter jigs either, rough textured finish does flake.

I’m on my fourth order only because of new inventory. I personally like the bigger jigs. 5mm. And up to 7mm.

I use ice fishing tactics all year (vertical jigging in kayak with sonar). I’ve been using 7mm jigs from Amped exclusively this fall, and just placed my 2nd order for 20 jigs. The jigs seem comparable to Fiskas or CJ&S. I’ve never had a problem with the hooks, and the 7mm size is a good platform to tie hair jigs.

I just bought some. Haven't used them but they look high quality. Eyes are clean. No need to chip paint out.
