Single or treble on perch jigs??

I didn't want to get off topic with the "Best Perch Jigs" post.  But when using pimples, what hook is better, single or treble??  Curious to see what experinces people are having & if one is "better" than the other.

i like using a treble hook for fishing perch when using a pimple. Seem like they stay hooked better compared to a single hook.

I am a big fan of a single hook, I want to get that jig back down to the school of fish as fast a possible, I also crush the barb. If I lost many fish I might change my technique, but it is rare to drop a fish...

I prefer the treble but when it's on the single is the way to go. Depends on how hard they're hitting as well.

I have better hook ups with a smaller treble than comes with the pimple, but it seems like it takes forever to get the fish off the hook so I can get it back into the action.  Fine if the action is slowish, but a pain if you've got a dink on the bite but jumbo's are in the area.
