Humminbird Ice 35
« on: Feb 07, 2019, 01:42 AM »
Wondering if anyone has used a Humminbird 35 and your thoughts.

My friend is selling one brand new that is still in the box for $150

I'm running a Helix 7 now but would like something I can stuff in a bucket for lighter days, I have heard mixed reviews about it not picking up lures.

Thanks.

I would be all over it for 150. I have used one a little and it should make you happy.

I've been using the Ice 35 for five years now. I would take that deal in a heartbeat.

Any issues with lures not showing up on display?

I had the ICE 35 for a few years, worked great in 30ft of water or less, I only upgraded when I started fishing deeper water

No, once the gain is dialed in I can see my connection knot from leader to main line. No problem seeing my lures.

Have had am ice 35 for a few years now. Its my backup if my helix battery dies or if I have friends going. Never had any issues with it. Side by side to my helix I honestly think the 35 pic fish up better then my helix. Been out in 40 below with no issues. Fish anywhere from 2 foot to 70 foot with now issues.

It’s a steal for $150.  Snatch it up.
