was watching his show last week, think its called whitewater something or other and he was doing some fall fishing for bass and crappie. while he was fishing he was talking water temp and said bass stop eating all together,  once water temps reach below 50 degrees. am i missing something or has he never heard of ice fishing. if i am let me know or if you saw it too correct me if i'm wrong

Funny thing isnt it. haha I dont know how fish can survive without eating. The water temp is usually no more than 42 at the bottom most times I fish all winter. And I like catching bass through the ice....I guess I must snag em all in the mouth.
