I am getting a new fish finder. Don't want underwater camera. I like the digital graph of the Marcum LX7, and the dual transducer, but it isn't waterproof. I'm gonna get a kayak next spring, and want one unit for both kayak and ice.
What is the waterproof version of the Marcum LX7? It's the only fish finder I've ever owned. Sold it two years ago. Time to replace it, but MUST be waterproof.
Doesn't have to be a Marcum (I don't think any of the Marcums are waterproof??), but I want it on par, or better, than the LX7.
Kinda like the humminbird Helix 7 so far... Any other suggestions?
