Watched it and loved it. Love the fourth way he did it. On small Pike this will be great!

Took the mystery out for me ...while I have heard of some of the methods not many how to videos of good quality and instruction out there ...plan on using it on Pickerel...I like the zipper method .

I've used the gill hook removal method. It works quite well.

In the past for pike I've just cooked the fillets and flaked the meat off the y-bones. I'll do like boneless chunks of fish though.

My gang usually either pickles or grinds for patties ....We get some good size Pickerel in my area ...with these methods that may change

Thanks for posting this!  I am new to pike fishing, but am anxious to try one for table fare.  I will be trying the zipper method first.  Looked pretty easy.  The last method did too.
