I LOVE my Peet boot dryer, It has hip wader and glove attachments you can get for it. put your sopping wet boots on when you go to bed, and they are warm and dry when you wake up. Worth every penny. I think they are $35 at Gander Mt. Trust me. WORTH IT!!!!

there are bad ones...my parents got me one for christmas last year and it would just blow cold air into the boots and wouldn't do anything. i think maybe it was from harbor freight. not for sure.

My girlfriend got me the Peet dryer a few years back and I absolutely love it. Don't know how I went so many years without one.

I had a boot dryer with no brand name on it, just a redwings logo, put my sopping wet tennis shoes on it over nite, the next morning they were still sopping wet, but warm.  Usually if I wanna dry my boots I just sit them upside down over the heating duct vent overnight, sure does smell up my room though :D

i suppose you could. i think the brand i have is made by peet, i have the attachment to drie gloves but i really like it put your boots on overnight and they are dry and warm in the morning. it only uses like 7 watts so unless it is covered you don't feel much heat come out of it.

My sister got me a boot dryer last year. plugged it in and it just blows air. If I ever tied it my boots might be dry 3 days later. I use a hose register.

i also use my year round for my work boots i think my boots last twice as long the insides don't wear out the way they used to, of course my feet sweat like crazy.

Kinda load .... isn't it? I put in another vote for the peet. excellent machine... works great... dries the boots but doesn't OVER dry them..... That can be an issue with leather.

My boots last longer now too.  I keep them dry and oiled and they last a lot longer.

I have the peet propane model and love it. We don't have elect. at our deer camp, so I use it there and at home year round. Thinking of getting the elect. model for home. It dries the boots slow overnite which is best for the leather.

I have a thermal dry. At first I thought it sucked because I couldn't feel any warm air or movement, but it just takes time.  Sure feels nice to stick my feet in warm dry boots in the morning.  It is one of my favorite possesions.

I was given a pair of shoe dryers as a gift - blue metal shoe inserts on an electric cord - and thought they were the silliest thing that I'd ever seen - and was not sure I'd ever use them.  Well, 20+ years of outdoor activities later, I think they were one of the most practical gifts I've ever received.  Only need them occasionally, but when I do, they work great.

I have a Peet...works great. Before the peet I took a piece of 1 x 8  and bored out 2 holes large enough for 2" pvc pipe. I set the 1 x 8 over the heat vent in the living room with the boots on top. That worked well too...when we were heating.
