Anybody checked or heard anything about the ice at Dawson?

6" in North Normal today. Would still be careful, but feel like Dawson should be ok to give it a go.

Any one have an ice or fishing report for Dawson yet?? Thinking about getting out there sometime this weekend. Especially if evergreen doesn't go well tomorrow morning

One piece of information for Dawson years ago their was a spring in the center of the lake out in front of the beach area and the ice was always thinner . This was back in the 90' s don't know if the information is still valid today though have not fished it recently. Could have been the years ice.

Went to Dawson yesterday afternoon/evening. 10" ice. Caught alot of fish but mostly small. No keeper crappie and only a few keeper gills. My dad did pick up a 16.5" saugeye.
