Yeah, hanging Christmas lights, I think the ice may still be a little thin for me, I hate getting everything out only to fall in up to my knees checking the thickness. If the weather stays like this I'll be using up my 2005 sick days quickly.

Hit the ponds to check the ice.  I live in Lake county and the ponds around where I live are at about 2-3 inches.  As for the lakes the channels on the Chain o Lakes should be ready this weekend.  I myself am gonna head over the border and try some lakes up north.

I saw a couple people out on Cedar Lake today on the way home from work.  I also saw some idiot tearing across the lake on a sled!!  What is he thinking?
