A buddy and I are thinking about trying Lake Storey, but we've never been there before. Just wondered if minnows are allowed there and if there is a limit of crappies? TIA

If you like crappie, fish after dark in front of the dam.  26-30 FOW.  Split the water column in half, if you do not have electronics.  Minnows work well.  No limit that I am aware of.  Fish run small.
