The only thing on my list is a Genz-Pack carrier for my FL-8 to replace the standard round one.

I have a replacement housing for the vex also.

The old one got pushed up against the catalytic heater last season and melted the head housing pretty bad.

Fortunately it did not cause any damage to the electronics, just the housing. Vexilar just happened to have a used one for my model (looks brand new) and sent it me for $20 shipped. Thank you Vexilar!!

Oh yea... I am also getting a magnifier for it...

Looks like around 75 bucks for the Clam Kit...(should be in today!) I am still working on stocking the extension for the Lazer.

Is that the 4 1/2 inch. I got one last year and I was surprised how small it is. Not sure if I want to chance it. Many fish are wider than 4 1/2 inches IMHO. Might sell mine. Still have the 6,8 and 10 inch for back ups.

Got it at Cabela's in Hammond. The drill is a knock off hammer drill from Harbour Freight. I mostly fish for gills not sure the 4.5 will be a problem for me. I do have a 6 mora in reserve just in case though.

Looks like this post needs to be renamed "what have you bought this year". With that being said, to go along with the marcum lx-5 (which by the way still has not seen the ice) just ordered a new 6"nils hand auger for $115 at cabelas on line ,a new jig box, some slender spoons and and some chubby darters. I get the evil eye from my wife every time I get in front of the computer, If I just keep ordering she'll eventually get used to it!

Also about 25-30 more jigs that I couldn't live without.. Never have too many! And also a new buddy heater! I can wait for ice, with last years slim ice I have a bunch of gear to test!

Kinda like me what haven't I bought this year the only thing I haven't upgraded was gas auger from a new truck to new tungsten jigs
