Ya for sure,    its odd,   this is the warmest winter we had in a while, and I dont even really need a shanty,    but its for those -30 days when I know noone else is fishing, and im gonna be out in this, in just a T shirt and sweat pants....watching Ellen,  and reeling in the lunkers.   Maybe I'll have chicken fingers in the toaster oven too,  just like the trailer park boys       I got an extension cord that
will get me out to about 60 feet of water

******  UPDATE  *****
Had a bit of time today,  so I cut some glass, and made a few windows for the Hilton         These windows are small,  just the way I like em,  about 9 X 9 inches,  I put the phone in the picture just to show scale.     It dont look like it,   but the glass is in these frames already,  no glare from the flash.   I also got the door finished.   Its soon about time to piece everything together

-by the sounds of it the kids need a longer spring break and to light a fire under yer butt oh and u mite need some pontoons for this thing

-maybe this summer when its complete you can just anchor it out in the middle of the lake and wait for the ice to come?

We pulled the Hilton out of Storage to work on it some more,  here are a few more pictures,     siding,  woodstove, and  roof should go on next weekend

We started the siding tonight, seems to be going well,  we also bought a new wood stove and stove pipe,   its awesome,   is it ok for me to wish for snow again already?

OK,  so with the busy winter, I didnt have time to finish the Hilton, So today the weather was great so Rainbow Sniper and I decided to put the tin roof on her.  as well as a loft, that may double as a bunk for  Rainbow Sniper.     I suspect the Hilton will be opening in December 2012

Colin and I worked a little more today on the Ice Hilton.   Insulation was the goal



we decided the insulation is a good spot to post some of our pictures,   these are just a few, we probably have enought to cover the entire walls

I think it might get a little too hot up there in the celing for anyone to sleep. Never mind too tight

I believe it's time to haul this project out of the bush where it was last put to sleep, and finish it.   I have everything bought to complete the project, I just need motivation to get er done.      what do you say Ian?     Coo-Coo Hilton building party?    Grand opening for new years?
