I like my redheaded Duey's decoy, but I plan on purchasing some from BuschWhacker this winter, as he makes some beautiful decoys.

A lively 10" sucker minnow with the tail fin trimmed seems to work the best for me.

My KK's Rainbow Pike has probably killed the most pike but I think my favorite is the KK Coor's Silver Bullet because of the savage gut-wrenching (to the pike!) attacks even hammerhandles do on it, let alone a 4 or 5 pounder. Plenty of scars on that one that requires some "healing" paint every season~!  He has come up with some unique deeks in his AREA 52 Skunk Works laboratory.  I'm waiting on his micro deeks he is working on. New theory on pike attraction with a totally new and untried approach. Hopefully it will pay off in the Matsu Pike Derby this winter with a winner.

I still like my BIG Bear Creek Gold Pike better than any of them. That gold flashes out a long ways and always brings 'em in. If you got that bad boy down and you don't see anything, it's time for a nap.
