Very nice! I bet that was a good tug!
it over 20 min fight, laker is the most powerful fresh water fish that can get your rod bent like crazy

Way to go Khang, the Gorge is on my bucket list of places to fish. Are there decent areas to fish on foot, or do you pretty much need a sled?

I lived in Rock Springs, WY for six years and ice fished Flaming Gorge quite a bit. I always walked out as I don't own an ATV or snowmobile. I was able to still catch a lot of fish. Plenty of areas that you can walk out to and catch fish. The colder the winters are, a lot more areas are open to walking out as the ice builds to the south.
