Title: 1/9/2022 - QC Area
Post by: hnd on Jan 09, 2022, 04:38 PM
We got out on 5-6" of very solid ice in the QC area.

we caught a small number of crappie including a few 13-16" pies. backwater spot we've fished for a long time that is very hit or miss.

nice. my cousins grew up in pleasant valley and talked about a great backwater bite. never got into until they moved all over the country.

Nice  ;D

Bite has been really, really slow around here, and ice is extremely variable depending on the water. Spots that got the ice torn up by that big wind last week are still pretty thin, everything else that survived it is 4-5.5".
