Title: And so it begins...
Post by: HardH20Fishin on Oct 19, 2021, 06:16 PM
So I happen to pass through Draper today and so I stopped by Scheels. Was pleasantly surprised to see that they are already in full ice-fishing mode. So if anyone is itching to walk the isles of jigs or want to check out a new rod or two, you can get your fix now.

Stopped by Cabela's in Farmington today and was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a full ice-fishing section set up already. Go get you some!

Time to go through everything so I don’t as usual buy things I already have.

I had a CABG X5 on September 28th and am in recovery.  Ruined the heck out of my duck season, but looking forward to a very succesful ice season.  The reports of perch catching this past year have been excellent.  I'm almost ready; bring it on.   ;D

Good to hear your in recovery Bob, had to look that one up as I've never heard that before. Pretty serious stuff for sure. With all that new blood flow your going to be whipping them fish out that hole by the dozens. Being Im  so close if  you every need a hand with anything give me a call Bob. More than happy to run down. Almost done rebuilding the camp tent , tweaking a few things and playing with the new stuff myself. Ive been updating my X200 tent post in the ice shack section for anyone interested in seeing some pics of the rebuild and additions.

HOLY COW, Bob! Glad to hear that recovery is going well! Looking forward to exploring a few new lakes this season with the snowdog but also spending plenty of time on the local spots in search perch for future fish tacos. Unfortunately, it is not looking like Scofield will be ready for Thanksgiving weekend this year. Will be the first time I don't open the season by hitting Scofield for T-Day. Maybe the following weekend.
Bring on the ice....
