14- welcome to IS.
Its been very cold here for several days. Most of the lakes are safe.
Some may have weak edges.
Hamilton lake for one, although I've seen people on it in the last couple days.
Nesmuck is ok, but cloudy...Hills creek is fishable,
with a fairly good bite in the morning and evening, sketchy in mid day.

The big lakes are still not safe after the rain last week, that will change
if this cold weather keeps being cold.

Call Don at the tackle Shack, when you want information..and for good bait and winter tackle

Welcome aboard.  Ford about covered it all.  Hills is in good shape.  Good number of guys fishing this week.  After you've made a few more posts all of the Tioga County Lakes are listed with reports.  I did put some info here too http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=249089.0 .  That's from late last week and into the weekend.  Ice is in better shape now.

Good Luck,

Don

good ice on both of them.  around 8-10.  I have reports up under 'Tioga County Ice' on the reports section.  Nessmuk is fishing pretty decent. nice perch and bluegills, but you are going to work for them.  tad slow on Hamilton.  water is still a little murky.  bite's been real hit/miss.  Some great days, some not very good ones.  The trout bite has been pretty steady though.

we fished both this weekend..Nesmuk has a good 8 inches and Hamilton has close to 12 incehes.. The best ice we've been on this year..caught some really nice bull gills and jumbo perch, along with some trout at Hamilton...Had a great time..
