Suckers for bait for lake trout
« on: Mar 13, 2017, 03:21 PM »
Anybody ever used it?  I know a place, where I can bowfish for suckers in the spring time and I know they are found in some of the lakes with lake trout so I was curious if they are a common baitfish that lake trout eat, and if so, does it work okay for lake trout?

Thanks for the reply.  Did you use them for bait specifically for lake trout?  I wasn't aware there were lake trout that far east.  I know there are lake trout in the Great lakes, but I didn't know they were in upstate New York.  Is that where the Adirondacks are?
